Light at the end of the Tunnel!

My last post in February 2013 was about the release of my new book, "The Houseboat." However, I didn't have the chance to market the book or even tell you much about Jason and his buddies. On March 7, 2013, I suffered a stroke and up to now I have not been able to write. This is my first public writing since the stroke. It has taken many hours of rehab and hard work to reach this point. I don't know when or if another book with come out, but with God's help, I'll be back to tell you all about it soon.

'The Houseboat'

Jason and his friends are ready to have the summer of their lives fixing up what they believe is an abandoned houseboat. What they didn't realize is that in the process, they would cross paths with murderous escapees from the Hospital for the Criminally Insane. What should've been a summer of adventures and first loves turns into a real-life nightmare that will forever haunt them.

Adoption Blessings

Three years ago three young boys, ages 2, 4 and 5, where brought to me by a social worker. The boys biological mother loved them dearly, but was unable to care for them properly. So they entered my life.

They walked through the door with orange pop all over their faces and the youngest with a diaper full of poop. Entering my heart that afternoon, they were mine.

Not to kid anyone the road was not smooth, but we pulled it together with the help of a lot of people. Through social workers, therapists, lawyers and a judge. These three precious boys became a part of a 'forever family' and that family was mine. My boys are now 5, 7 and 8. I love being called mommy!

Jason is on his way!

Jason is a  high school sportsman who loves running with his buddies and has found his "first love" Ivory. With a series of murders in the area, Jason's nights are filled with terror in his dreams. Until the day those nightmares come true. I am excited to announce that Jason's book is finished (no title yet) and the first draft has been sent to the editor. I can't wait to get him out there so all of you can get to know him.
